This is the tale of my battle against morbid obesity. I have a husband that supports me no matter what crazy idea I've conjured up, an 18-year old daughter, a 15-year old daughter, and a 13 -year old son. I have a full-time job at The Medical College of WI. I am blessed to have amazing family and friends. I have so much to live for so I'm going to slay this demon and live happily ever after!

I'm sure you're wondering . . . why "Baby Spoons"? During one of my pre-op classes I was doodling as the nurse was talking about the new way of eating after the Roux En Y procedure - drawing a bunch of teeny tiny spoons. Post-op patients have to use spoons that are about the same size as an American Girl Bitty Baby accessory. What is the best way to accomplish my goal of becoming a healthier and happier person? Baby steps. So, that's how it came to be!
