This is the tale of my battle against morbid obesity. I have a husband that supports me no matter what crazy idea I've conjured up, an 18-year old daughter, a 15-year old daughter, and a 13 -year old son. I have a full-time job at The Medical College of WI. I am blessed to have amazing family and friends. I have so much to live for so I'm going to slay this demon and live happily ever after!

173 - It's been another crazy week in the life of me.  Every day goes by so fast, and I feel like nothing ever gets accomplished (by me).  I know I'm always doing something, but it seems like there's always so much more that I should be doing.  Sounds crazy, but I guess I'm just a little overwhelmed.

I registered for my spring semester classes on Monday; English, Psychology, and Anatomy & Physiology.  I've opted for a Tuesday/Thursday night class as opposed to the weekend thing this time around.  We'll see how that goes.

I got an email from my Chemistry instructor this AM.  I've still got an A in there.  Yay!  Hopefully, the moles and Avogadro's Number and crazy math equations that are floating around in my head will come together and help me keep my average up there for another week, or four.  December 15th cannot arrive soon enough!

Construction continues.  We had our "final" inspection on Wednesday.  That went well, but the job is far from finished.  Tile dude has absolutely no attention to detail.  The bathroom will be re-tiled.  The novelty of sleeping on the air mattress has definitely worn off.  I cannot wait to sleep in my bed again.

A big shout out to RT; Junior Red Raiders Football Defensive Player of the Year.  WOO HOO!

I've got my 6-month post-op appointment next Friday; Nov. 16.  I'd love to lose another 5 pounds by then - for an even 70.  I'll keep you posted.

Have a super week!
