160 - I think I can. I think I can. I think I can. I am seeing that little blue engine pulling out of the station and getting her ass back on track. Here we go!
I have an excellent customer service moment to share. Jim and I were doing some running around on Saturday and I suggested we go to Prescott Miller Jewelers in Greendale to get my rings re-sized. It was getting a little late, so I pulled out my phone and checked their hours to make sure we weren't wasting a trip. Google said they were open until 5, so we had plenty of time. We got there, only to see a dark store and the hours posted on the door indicated they closed at 4pm. It was almost 4:30 and Jim was looking a bit irritated with me - as if I was unable to look up store hours on a website. Seriously, who does he think he's dealing with?!? Thank goodness he came up with the same results that I did, and then a woman appeared at the front door. She unlocked it and came out to talk to us. We explained why we were there and that we thought they were open until 5, based on our search. She had us come in and was so kind. She checked my rings to make sure all of my diamonds were real (amen; they are). She was so patient with me while I debated on sizes. Yay - my rings should be back this Saturday!!! I'm feeling pretty naked without them. My wedding band went from a size 6.75 to 5.25, and my three-diamond went from 6.5 to 6. Obviously, Prescott Miller is not one of those big box jewelry stores. The woman that helped us was Kathy - and she's the owner. I'm not sure if she remembers me or Jim from our Pandora purchases, but she treated us like she did and that's what makes me realize it's okay to travel a little bit further.
Reilly's basketball team lost last Saturday, but it was such a great game. They boys played really well together and kept it within reach. It must have been Jim's awesome coaching at practice last week. :) Play-offs start on Saturday. Play-offs?!?
