This is the tale of my battle against morbid obesity. I have a husband that supports me no matter what crazy idea I've conjured up, an 18-year old daughter, a 15-year old daughter, and a 13 -year old son. I have a full-time job at The Medical College of WI. I am blessed to have amazing family and friends. I have so much to live for so I'm going to slay this demon and live happily ever after!

159 - And on top of that I've had a miserable week.  I have an infected tooth and am going to have a root canal this afternoon.  I'm already cringing about the moment the endodontist is going to put the cold on my tooth.  That's the worst for me.

On a happier note, Taylor got asked to prom (by the Tosa East principal's son).  He put a pull-string pinata on our front porch Monday night.  When she pulled the string there was a tag that said:  Taylor, Prom? Ethan.  He was standing around the corner of our house and came to the front to wait for her answer.  She said yes.  Dresses, and shoes, and hair . . . OH MY!

Reilly had his first baseball scrimmage in Richfield last Sunday.  It was a cold, wet and miserable day.  He walked twice, and stole home on his first walk to score the first run for the Jr. Red Raiders!!!  Since it was a scrimmage the teams weren't keeping score, but it was a good game.  It should be a very exciting season.

Brooke's supposed to have her first outdoor soccer game on Saturday, and softball practice starts next week.  Softball is going to have an added element of entertainment this season - Jim is the assistant coach.  Looking forward to that.

Maybe next week . . .

  1. Jim was a great assistant coach for me in basketball! It was when he was coach that we won our only game!
