This is the tale of my battle against morbid obesity. I have a husband that supports me no matter what crazy idea I've conjured up, an 18-year old daughter, a 15-year old daughter, and a 13 -year old son. I have a full-time job at The Medical College of WI. I am blessed to have amazing family and friends. I have so much to live for so I'm going to slay this demon and live happily ever after!

201 - Not bad considering we went to my nephew's graduation party last Saturday and there was so much food!!!  I was on my best behavior, but there were temptations galore.  :)  And, we spent the day in the Dells on Monday.  I didn't plan my meals AT ALL, but tried to make good decisions.  Today, I'm headed back to work . . .  and I'm terrified.  I've kept up with my emails, but it sounds like lots of changes.

While we were in WI Dells the whole family experienced zip-lining for the first time.  It was such an awesome time!  Reilly was definitely the most daring of all, but everyone really enjoyed the opportunity.  I loved the zipping, but the stairs - UGH!!!  I logged 500 stairs for that day.  They were a huge challenge, but I didn't let them stop me from making the most of the day.  I can honestly say I never would have even attempted to tackle them 37 pounds ago.

It's been a crazy 8 weeks;  Reilly's 5th grade promotion, Taylor's driver's license, Brooke's on-going knee issues, Reilly's broken foot, our vacation in Warrens, WI, Taylor's first job, mini-golfing, yard work, preparing myself for school in the fall, zip-lining, and lots and lots of walking.

I need to get my morning walk in before I head to work.  Gotta go!
