This is the tale of my battle against morbid obesity. I have a husband that supports me no matter what crazy idea I've conjured up, an 18-year old daughter, a 15-year old daughter, and a 13 -year old son. I have a full-time job at The Medical College of WI. I am blessed to have amazing family and friends. I have so much to live for so I'm going to slay this demon and live happily ever after!

165 - Hmmm.  When I did my mid-week weigh-in on Monday I was 159.  What's up with that?!?  It's still a good week.  I'm losing weight and I've had a couple of milestones.

Skinny jeans; they're not just for teeny boppers anymore!  Taylor persuaded me to get a pair, and I actually like them.  I wore them to work yesterday and got lots of positive feedback.  Apparently, they're acceptable even if you don't have toothpick legs.  :)

My next milestone is definitely something that I hadn't given a lot of thought to.  My Pandora bracelet can slide over my hand, making it a huge risk for loss.  Santa Baby - Stick a bracelet under the tree - for me.  I also need to get my rings resized, but with 40 pounds to go before I reach my goal I'm trying to hold off a little longer.  And, I can't imagine not wearing them.  My hands will look and feel so naked.

Two more Chemistry classes and then Jim and I start running.  The lesser of the two evils; I'm not sure yet.  I'm definitely going to need some appropriate shoes for this new endeavor.  I'm thinking:

Won't those look cute on me while I've got a huge smile on my face as I sing along to my iPod music, my hair flows gorgeously behind me and I never get winded as I run and run and run?  Yeah, right.

Have a super week, and if you see someone laying on the sidewalk with really cute shoes, it's probably me.
