This is the tale of my battle against morbid obesity. I have a husband that supports me no matter what crazy idea I've conjured up, an 18-year old daughter, a 15-year old daughter, and a 13 -year old son. I have a full-time job at The Medical College of WI. I am blessed to have amazing family and friends. I have so much to live for so I'm going to slay this demon and live happily ever after!

165 - Dangit!

Those cute little Nike running shoes from a couple weeks back that I posted; they arrived on Monday and I need to put them to use.  My compression pants and top should be here today.

The New Year has begun.  I decided to spend this year focusing on being more organized and less "spendy".  The Goodwill Donation Center dudes are going to recognize me and my vehicle.  The USPS employees will cringe as I make my regular visits to mail items that I have purged from the depths of our home.  The ladies at the local malls and boutiques will probably miss me like crazy, and eventually forget about me.  Shocking, hey?

We've already started making plans for our vacation.  Big news:  We're off to Florida July 13-20.  Kudos to my parents for accepting the responsibility of caring for our most prized possession (Zoe).  Anyone up to fostering Sophie (Brooke's guinea pig)?  It would be a great opportunity for anyone considering a small pet.  You can try it out and see if it's a commitment you're ready for.

Basketball practice starts tonight for Reilly; 8-9:30 pm.  We'll be getting his game schedule, so I'll get that out to his faithful followers.  :)

Have a good week!
