This is the tale of my battle against morbid obesity. I have a husband that supports me no matter what crazy idea I've conjured up, an 18-year old daughter, a 15-year old daughter, and a 13 -year old son. I have a full-time job at The Medical College of WI. I am blessed to have amazing family and friends. I have so much to live for so I'm going to slay this demon and live happily ever after!

165 - Call me crazy, but I'm totally okay with that.  If I gained a pound for every bad food decision I've made since Dec. 22 I'd be right back where I started from.  Seriously.  Next week . . . Game On!

I'm still pretty pumped about my grades.  A 4.0 GPA is something that I never imagined (for myself).  When I think back to high school I don't think better grades would have changed my course in life.  This probably sounds very cliche but, everything happens for a reason.  I guess I just needed to be patient in order to realize my true life goals.

Great news:  The Ortho Chicks at CHOW went above and beyond to get my retainers made last Thursday, before they were off for the holiday.  5-hour turn-around time on two retainers; not bad.  Thanks Chris & Kathy!

The best news of all:  Jim and I are officially moved back to the third floor.  YAY!!!  We're not settled, but it's coming together.

Love it when we get together with family, and all of the cousins get to see eachother:

Happy New Year and Be Safe!
