This is the tale of my battle against morbid obesity. I have a husband that supports me no matter what crazy idea I've conjured up, an 18-year old daughter, a 15-year old daughter, and a 13 -year old son. I have a full-time job at The Medical College of WI. I am blessed to have amazing family and friends. I have so much to live for so I'm going to slay this demon and live happily ever after!

181 - Truthfully, my weight hasn't been on my mind this week.  It's all the other crazy stuff that's happening in my life.

Construction Chaos Continues.  On the up side, we've got all new plumbing (throughout the entire house).  And, we'll have a brand new ceiling in the living room.  The kitchen will have a new wall, and the ceiling will be repaired in there too.  I can make light of it now.  Sunday; not so much.  There was water running down the wall behind the TV in the living room.  Turns out every time someone was showering or flushing in the 2nd floor bathroom there was a surge of water that needed to go somewhere.  The pipes were so damaged from age and the additional stress of construction that they literally crumbled.  So, if you're looking for a plumber - call Dave at Waukesha Plumbing.  He knows his shit (ha)

Chemistry - I pulled off an 88% on last weeks' test and a 79% on the lab.  I guess I'm not very good at measuring water and metal pieces.  Good news:  No class this weekend.

Jim and I went to the neighbor's Octoberfest party last Saturday.  We had a good time; got to chat with other people from the neighborhood.  I know what you're thinking:  Octoberfest party in September?  Attention to detail, people!

Monday is the start of my birthday month.  happy face
